Andy Romero is a screenwriter, content writer, and creative storyteller based in Gloucestershire, United Kingdom.

Most recently, Andy has written three TV pilots - Serviced, Fruitless and The Lottery Liar.

Andy's script, The Lottery Liar, based on a thrilling true story, placed in the quarterfinals of the Bluecat TV Drama Competition. 

 

Andy's romantic horror short film, Love & Zombies also placed in the short film category in the same year and his workplace sitcom Serviced placed in the quarterfinals in the Stage 32 Annual TV Comedy Awards.

 

Prior to this, Andy wrote for a variety of content agencies and businesses looking to increase their online presence for a variety of topics including; Nutrition, self-improvement, TV and film and more.

 

He has staged two self-written plays in London: Scream Queens Anonymous and Britain’s Got Talons. His other plays include Margaret, Indoors (shortlisted for the Apollo Young Writers Award), The Orange Peel (winner of four awards at the Durham Drama Festival) and Timmy Thompson is Dead (winner of the National Drama Association of Wales Award).
